We’ve addressed a fair bit of customer feedback and based on this, I’ll go over the latest developments in C++ EnC for Update 3 (download) and other clarifications in this blog post.

Recent updates of <a href="http://dailydotnettips.com/category/visual-studio/">Visual Studio</a> 2015 introduced a new tool for analyzing how your application behaviors over time  using the <a href="http://dailydotnettips.com/category/application-insights/">Telemetry data</a>. The <a href="http://dailydotnettips.com/category/application-insights/">Application Insights</a> Trends tool in <strong>Visual Studio</strong> can analyze the data from the different set of telemetry types, time range and group by them in to different category.  You can launch this window form the solution explorer by selecting “<strong>Explore Telemetry Trends</strong>” option.

Visual Studio 15 Preview 3

Today I am happy to share <a href="https://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/?LinkId=746567">Visual Studio “15” Preview 3</a> (which is different from Visual Studio 2015 Update 3). This is still a Preview and is unsupported, so my recommendation is to not install it on your production environments. That said, it should install right on top of any previous Visual Studio “15” Previews and side by side with previous versions of Visual Studio. Visual Studio Update 3

Today, we are happy to announce the release of Visual Studio 2015 Update 3. One of the top issues reported in Update 2 was around high memory consumption. We addressed this issue in Update 3 RC, reached out to customers who had reported this issue, and received positive confirmation on the fix. In Update 3 you will see many such fixes addressing customer feedback around performance and stability.
